Fit Barre Hamilton
Sarah first discovered Barre 4 years ago when she was in the United States for vacation and was instantly drawn to the results and challenging, high energy of the workout. When she returned to Hamilton, she realized there was nothing like it in her home city. This was the beginning of the dream that is now Fit Barre. As a trained cardiac ICU registered nurse this allows her to make sure that the class and program are safe for all ages and fitness backgrounds for clients at Fit Barre.

how to prepare for your first class, FAQ's
What should I wear?
Wear pants, leggings or capris that you are comfortable in (no shorts) and workout tank or T-shirt. You will also want to wear sticky socks to retain your body’s heat as well as prevent your feet from sliding (you’ll thank us later).
What should I bring?
We have all the equipment you’ll need at the studio, just bring a bottle of water, possibly a sweat towel, and a positive attitude. We ask that you do not bring your cell phone into class. If you’re expecting an important call, you’re welcome to leave your cell phone at the front desk and we’ll come snag you if you’re needed.
Try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class to meet our instructor, set your spot up and learn our terms
Can I do barre while I'm pregnant?
If you have been taking Fit Barre classes regularly, Fit Barre can continue to be a safe and effective exercise option while pregnant. Everyone’s pregnancy is different, so it is a good idea to consult with your doctor to ensure he/she is comfortable with you continuing to take class. Please advice our staff and instructors that you are pregnant, so that we can walk you through any modifications you may need through different stages of pregnancy. As with any exercise program, if at any point during your workout you begin to feel faint, dizzy, or have physical discomfort, you should stop immediately and consult a physician.
How soon will I see results?
You can see results in just 8-10 classes. For optimal results, classes should be taken at least 3-4 times per week. Your actual results will vary, as it depends on how often you are coming.
What is your late Cancellation policy?
We ask that if you can longer make your reserved class time that you cancel 3 hours before the scheduled class time. A $10.00 late cancellation fee will be applied to clients on monthly membership, class packs reservations will loose the class in their current series. We understand life happens, we will try our best to work with you, so email or call the studio if something happens!
Do you have showers?
Yes, we have three showers and a change room for clients to shower and get ready for the day after their workout.
Do you have parking?
There is street parking along Main st. and Walnut St and it is free on weekends and evenings after 6pm. There are two city lots within 100m of the building that are $1.00 per hour for parking.
